Date: 2017-03-28

The 2017 "10th Annual Conference of the Political Science and International Relations Academic Community" was scheduled for June 26–27 at the Liaoning Mansion in Beijing. The theme of this year’s conference is “World Politics in an Era of Uncertainty”, and the event will last two days. The conference is organized by the School of International Studies, Tsinghua University, aiming to provide an academic platform for exchange and collaboration among scholars.

Since the first conference in 2008, the Political Science and International Relations Academic Community Conference has received strong support from scholars, becoming the largest and most influential annual conference in the Chinese social sciences, witnessing and promoting progress in the fields of political science and international relations.

Currently, facing changes in the international balance of power and adjustments in major countries’ domestic and foreign policies, the international political landscape is experiencing complex and profound transformations, full of uncertainty and potential instability. We look forward to domestic and international scholars discussing pressing challenges and major issues of our times and contributing their insights. The organizing committee sincerely invites experts and scholars to participate in this year’s conference, actively organize workshops and roundtable discussions, submit academic papers, and attend the event.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the community conference, all participants are invited to attend the World Peace Forum events starting June 24 at 14:00 and throughout June 25, with a dinner celebration on June 26. Registration will open on June 24 at 12:00.
