Teaching and research situation

Currently, the courses "Emerging Infectious Diseases" and "AIDS" are offered in English at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University.

The main research direction is the diagnosis, treatment and pathogenesis of infectious diseases. It has successively undertaken: the national "Eleventh Five-Year", "Twelfth Five-Year", "Thirteenth Five-Year" major infectious disease special projects, "Twelfth Five-Year" and "Thirteenth Five-Year" new drug creation platform, "863", "973" (sub- Project), National Natural Science Foundation of China (five projects); Gates Foundation of the United States, NIH project of the United States (two projects); National Key Clinical Specialties, National Health and Family Planning Commission, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission Fund, Shanghai Health and Family Planning Commission "Public Health Three Projects" Annual Action Plan” (two items) and more than 30 scientific research topics. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 400 papers at home and abroad, including "New England Journal of Medicine", "Emerging Infectious Diseases", "AIDS", "Plos one", and "Journal of SCI".
